Treasure of Travel Bag (2023)
The Treasure of Travel Bag is a collage of machine knitted patterns and netting designed to place the value and importance of the object in the objects that are placed within it. Any foraged items, no matter how small or “meaningless” are given a higher value by placing them within the carefully knitted and designed patterns that are integral to the many, many pockets adorning the piece. Every pocket has a different use to each individual, and functions as a case study for human preferences as well as emotional value.
